roject for terrestrial heat pump forBeijing University Of Technology will build up a terrestrial heat base in the hi-tech energy building of Beijing University Of Technology, and a production base in Beijing Yizhuan Economic and Technology Development Park.
Scope of Works
The production base will be 2000 m2, and can produce about 250 small and middle-size terrestrial heat pump groups annually.
The Project will research and produce about 250 small and middle-size terrestrial heat pump groups annually. Detailed product plan includes technology research for terrestrial heat pump product, manufacture of small and middle-size terrestrial heat pump groups, design of terrestrial heat heating air-condition, and Project construction of terrestrial heat heating air-condition.
Total Investment
Total investment of the Project is 23.987 million yuan, including 17.673 million yuan for construction investment and 6.314 million yuan for circulating fund.

Terrestrial heat pump has been widely used in US and west European countries, and market demands have been increased continuously. Being an institute dedicates in technology research for terrestrial heat pump, Beijing University Of Technology is going to join with powerful domestic and foreign investors to set up Beijing University Of Technology terrestrial heat pump company, to promote development and industrialization of this green, energy-saving, environmental friendly, sustainable development technology in China.
Business Mode
Beijing University Of Technology invests with invisible assets, research and development base and current production facilities, amounting to 12.50 million yuan and holding 52.1% of share. The company will be controlled by Beijing University Of Technology. Investor provides 11.487 million yuan and having 47.9% of share. A joint stock company will be established by Beijing University Of Technology and the investor, and profits will be taken by share ratio.
Present Situation
1. Pilot Project
There are many pilot Projects in Beijing related to application of terrestrial heat pump technology of Beijing University Of Technology in heating air-condition of villas.
In 2004, there have been already 6 contracts signed and dozens of terrestrial heat pump Projects are being prepared.
2. Technology Research and Development
Having grasped series of critical technologies on terrestrial heat pump with vertical buried pipelines:
Design and installation technologies for outdoor heat exchanger with buried pipelines;
Srengthened heat conduction technologies for energy wells;
Underground U-tube connection and manufacture technologies;
Design data of outdoor heat exchanger;
System recycling water treatment technology;
Underground heat exchanger supervision technology;
Design and manufacture technologies of small heat pump groups.
There have been 4 products-- NLHP-200, NLHP250, NLHP300 and NLHP400.
