Beijing Municipal Bureau of Labor and Social Security
Beijing Municipal Bureau of Labor and Social Security has the following responsibilities:
1. To research and formulate the general principles, policies and regulations for the development of the city's labor business, and draw up local labor rules and standards.
2. To formulate basic regulations and policies for labor relations and deal with labor disputes.
3. To draw up reform documents for the salary management of enterprises and take macro-control of the salary level of all working staff in Beijing.
4. To be in charge of social insurance of the city and organize the approval of work as well as exploration of professional skills.
5. To work on health and safety, statistics and information work.
6. To organize research of technology, promotion and publicity of technological achievements and formulate the cadres training program.
7. To supervise enforcement of state labor laws and regulations.
8. To undertake other relevant assignments from Beijing Municipal Government.
