5. To manage land requisition, transfer and building reconstruction.
6. To manage repair of housing and residential quarters.
7. To plan, develop, protect and supervise usage of the city's land resources.
8. To guide the district-level land management departments.
9. To undertake other relevant assignments from Beijing Municipal Government.
