Beijing Xinggu Development Area
The Development Area is planned to cover an area of 5.03 km 2 , with the first-phase construction covering an area of 3.7 km 2 . The Development Area engages mainly in the beverage and foodstuff production, coupled with such industries as pharmaceutical, bioengineering and optics-machinery-electronics integration. Pinggu District has become an automobile manufacturing base of Beijing, that adopts locally produced auto parts and components. The Development Area has attracted Xinyu, Nissin, Hexin and some other enterprises to enter.
Thus far, the Development Area has completed construction of necessary infrastructural facilities.
